Committees

KOGs and task forces work continually on behalf of the membership to improve business understanding and community relations and to provide programs and services that will benefit the industry and its members.

  • Key Objective Groups are multi-disciplinary, designed to achieve the Association's objectives as approved in the strategic plan.
  • Key Objective Groups are program, product, and service oriented.
  • Key Objective Groups have the authority and responsibility to implement current and new programs, products and services within the policies and budget as approved by the Board of Directors.
  • Key Objective Groups are not directly involved with delivery or management of programs, "products and services", that is the responsibility of staff.
  • Key Objective Group leadership may appoint, without further approval, work groups to advise the KOG or to work on specific assignments under the KOG's responsibility.
  • Key Objective Group Work Groups may have as many members as needed and those members may be appointed from the Association membership or from non-members.  Work Groups may be of short duration or semi-permanent depending on their assignment.
  • Key Objective Groups will not meet during the bi-annual Education Conferences.  They will meet throughout the year as needed at the Association office.
  • Key Objective Group Staff Liaisons will have the authority, with the knowledge of the KOG leadership, to appoint Work Groups to advise staff relative to the management of programs, products and services.
  • Key Objective Group leadership will be required to report to each meeting of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
