Look for more Association resources detailed in the Education, Advocacy, and Legal departments. Association-sponsored education and designation courses provide state required continuing education credits or REALTOR® professional designations.
Read more about the 2007 Advocacy accomplishments in the Legislative issue of OREGON REALTOR® Magazine. Oregon REALTORS® recently worked on behalf of members to defeat real estate transfer tax legislation and attempts to cap mortgage interest deductions.
The Legal Hotline, staffed by Oregon Association of REALTORS® counsel, risk management seminars and tools like the Oregon Property Buyer Advisory, are resources available to reduce the legal exposure faced by REALTORS® during sales transactions.
Online MEMBER Center
A members-only section on our website Member Center
includes important information about member health insurance plans, benefits, OREF Updates (from Oregon Real Estate Forms, LLC) and other important information. Look for an all new Member center in 2008 with expanded communication capabilities.
Committees/Key Objective Groups (KOGS)
KOGs and task forces work continually on behalf of the membership to improve business understanding and community relations and to provide programs and services that will benefit the industry and its members.
