Current biennial: Jan. 1, 2017 – Dec. 31, 2018
As a member, you ascribe to the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics. The NAR Code of Ethics is the standard to which all REALTORS® are held and keeps REALTORS® a step above a real estate licensee. The Code of Ethics is part of the REALTOR® brand.
As such, NAR requires all members to complete a 2.5 hour (minimum) Code of Ethics training every two years to maintain membership. The next completion deadline is December 31, 2018.
If you still need to take the Code of Ethics course, you have several different options:
- CE: "When You Come to the Fork in the Road - TAKE IT" instructed by Rick Harris.
- CE or Non-CE: "Ethics Adventure" offered through Interact CE.
- CE: "Cracking the Code of Ethics" offered through The CE Shop
- Non-CE: "REALTORS® Code of Ethics Training" offer through NAR
*Please note: if you complete any of the above courses, you will need to submit your CE certificate to your Local Association/Board to receive the official Code of Ethics credit with NAR.
